Air Release Valve
Plastic Continuous Acting Air Release & Vacuum Relief Valve
Its proven design provides more air release capacity than other air vents of similar size. Being a safety valve, it ensures maximum protection of the irrigation system with proper sizing and placement. Being a larger capacity valve, it dampens the water hammer thereby preventing pipes and fittings from cracking or bursting.

Submersible Pumps & Motors
These pumps are deep-well electric pumps in which the motor is closely coupled to the pump and submerged into the well. The submersible pumps are single-stage /multi-stage centrifugal pumps operating in a vertical/horizontal position. Their basic operational principle is as like centrifugal pumps. Fluid enters the pump through an intake screen and is lifted by the pump stage(s). In these pumps long intermediate shafts are undesirable.

Centrifugal Pumps & Motors
These pumps are centrifugal pumps that use a rotating impeller to create flow by the addition of energy to a fluid. Centrifugal pumps are commonly used to move liquids through piping.
The fluid enters the pump impeller along or near the rotating axis and is accelerated by the impeller, flowing radially outward into a volute chamber/casing, from where it exits into the downstream piping. Centrifugal pumps are used for large discharges through smaller heads.

Hunter Solenoid Valve
For maximum protection against water intrusion, the 24 V Hunter AC Solenoid features an encapsulated design that completely seals the electronic components in heavy-duty plastic. The captured plunger simplifies servicing by reducing the risk of lost internal parts.
The 9 V Hunter DC-Latching Solenoid is compatible with all plastic Hunter valves used with battery-operated controllers. The solenoid receives a quick pulse from the controller to latch (open the valve) and unlatch (close the valve). The solenoid has one black common wire and one red station wire. To ensure reliable operation, the wires must always be connected properly.
To replace an AC Solenoid with a DC-Latching Solenoid on any Hunter valve, simply unscrew the AC Solenoid and replace it with a DC-Latching Solenoid. This ensures compatibility with battery-operated Hunter NODE, NODE-BT, and XC Hybrid Controllers.
